In My Mailbox #3

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi  at The Story Siren that gives book bloggers the opportunity to showcase the books they've received that week. You can learn more about it here.

Okay, I've been waiting for Sunday all week because I was so excited about the books I got from the library earlier and couldn't wait to share! I always go way overboard whenever I first come home and check out about a thousand books. In addition to the ones in this IMM I still have nine ready for me to pick them up at the library. Eeek. Feeling a little overwhelmed, but in a good way!

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (Amazon | Goodreads)
Delirium by Lauren Oliver (Amazon | Goodreads)
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (Amazon | Goodreads)

I've wanted to read Before I Fall for a while now, and since I've been hearing such amazing things about Delirium (and just from reading the book flap it looks incredible), I figured I'd just go on a Lauren Oliver kick and read them both. Yay!
Beautiful Creatures also sounds amazing, and is another that I've been hearing good things about. The sequel, Beautiful Darkness is one of those that I have waiting for me at the library. :)

If I Stay by Gayle Forman (Amazon | Goodreads)
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Amazon | Goodreads)

Again, all the reviews for If I Stay made it inevitable that I was going to pick it up sooner or later. I've heard it's a tearjerker and I LOVE those.
And Anna and the French Kiss is next on my reading list, because I've been reading a lot of paranormal and dystopian stuff recently and I'm so in the mood for a fun contemporary romance.

The Six Rules of Maybe by Deb Caletti (Amazon | Goodreads)
One Night That Changes Everything by Lauren Barnholdt (Amazon | Goodreads)

Deb Caletti is awesome, I can't wait to read this one. And Lauren Barnholdt also wrote Two-Way Street, which I really enjoyed, so I'm looking forward to One Night That Changes Everything.

That's all for now, stay tuned for the rest of my library haul next week. :)

What fun books did everybody else get?

  3. Wow, you go so many great books! I loved Anna and the French Kiss, both books by Lauren Oliver, and If I Stay. Did you request those from the library or were they all on the shelf at once (lucky you)! You have some great reading ahead of you, enjoy! I have to check out Beautiful Creatures. Here's my IMM! ~ Jen @ A Book and a Latte
